Business Loan Express (BLX) is a licensed participant in the SBA's 7(a) guaranteed loan program and is a nationwide SBA Preferred lender. BLX has recently come under investigation for fraud, but has now reached an agreement with the SBA that will allow it to continue granting loans to minorities throughout the country. And that's just in the first week of March! Meraki Networks plans, within months, to bring free wireless Internet access to about 15,000 residents who live in parts of San Francisco. The Meraki plan, selected over the Google plan, will eventually be supported by advertising and sponsorship, not by subscriptions. This is likely an omen of things to come in the broadband world.
