that saying "No" won't jeopardize your service to them.
If you are looking at a larger company than
just one person, creating an Advisory Board from your industry would also be
very impressive. The people who sit on this Board need not even be local. With
the advent of very cheap international communications, they could be from
anywhere. And they hold no real power to change your company. They are advisory
only. But they can really add clout to your business plan.
Using Your Background
More than most types of businesses, your
personal background will be front and center. Create a very strong biographical
summary. And put it at the front of the business plan.
