Business Plan for Auto Dealership
by: CJ, Business Plan Specialist

With an existing auto dealership, you will have a lot of quarterly financials already in place. Pull those and analyze the figures as best you can to find trends in your sales. You may want the assistance of your accountant in doing this. Then develop a business plan for the auto dealership that accents the strengths of the business. i.e., how will the money be used to generate more sales? Use the Basic Business Plan as your model for creating the proposal. With an existing company like an auto dealership, you have a wonderful opportunity to show pictures of customers on your lot, some of the extraordinary cars that you've sold, complimentary notes from prior clients. You can do a lot to show that you have indeed been successful, and that is what a lender will be looking for.
