Writing A Bakery Business Plan:

If you could put your muffin in a bakery business plan, it would probably be easier to write.  But pictures will have to do.

One of our favorite letters is from Jun, a baker who discovered that she had actually made the banker's daughter's wedding cake, but since the wife (who had a different name) had handled everything, she didn't even realize it.  With that kind of personal connection, the banker took real pity on Jun and walked her through the whole process of getting a line of credit.

Few of us can be that lucky.

There are any number of reasons that you may find yourself looking for funding, not one of which has anything to do with the sad economy (we don't mention that to bankers).  You may need a line of credit for busy times, or a new delivery van, or need to hire some new people, or even open a new location.  When the need is a valid one, with "growth" in it, odds are excellent that you can get the funding you need.
