OK, now I understand why you need a lawn care business plan.  I used to think that lawn care was for high school kids, with a few gardeners thrown in for good measure.  Then I visited the south, as in Florida and Georgia.  Good grief, those lawns are Brillo pad monsters!  And it takes heavy equipment to mow them down.

Your lawn care business plan is your key to business funding. There are a dozens of  different kinds of lawn care businesses, like golf course maintenance, and commercial landscaping services.

The key to success isn't you.  Sure, you need good credit and a solid background in the business.  But YOU are not what will sell your business plan.

It is your customers.

More than your stability, the strength of your customers will tip the scales in your favor.  Think about it a minute.  It doesn't matter if you have AAAAA credit.  If you customers are sub-par, there is no way you can collect.  So you will be out of business in a matter of months, probably declaring bankruptcy yourself.

So your biggest task will be getting credit reports on your customers and proving that they are indeed strong.

Also, what happened to the other guy who was doing lawn care?  Go talk to him.  Find out if he got paid on time, and if he did, what caused his demise?  This is valuable information that you will never find in industry stats.  And it can make or break your business.
