All are great businesses. And there are a slew of great reasons on why you need financing for that business.
Bankers see the word "personal" and think "small". "Tiny", actually. Well, that probably isn't the case or you wouldn't be looking for funding.
So try not to use the word "personal". (We used it here because that is how a lot of us search for this type of business plan.) Use "customized" or "professional". The fact that you provide personal services can certainly be a component of your financials, even a strong component, but be certain that your service offerings match your equipment needs and financing request.
And if there is any equipment that you need, look to leasing it rather than purchasing it. It is a whole lot cheaper that way. Your accountant can advise you on how to go about it, or ask your banker for a reputable leasing company. Almost anything can be leased: workout equipment, mats, mirrors. Check it out.
