There are actually a lot of ways to make money, even if you are giving away a lot of free information on your website, such as:

EBooks.  And those ebooks that you see to the left?  Those make money for us too.  We actually wrote those books, but it is possible to locate books that others have written and earn a commission for each sale.

Affiliate Income.  "Earning a commission" is a type of affiliate income, another very popular way of making money when starting a free online business.

Membership Sites.  Some websites are so good that people pay to become members.  The members get access to specialized information, and you get an income.
