Write Your Business Plan
63 Opening Lines

It's tempting to say "great opening lines" or "phenomenal opening lines."  But in truth these are just opening lines to help you write your business plan.  Some are good, some are pretty lousy, and some are OK.  If you find an inspiration here, we're home free.

"So what's your sign?"   I think I hear a collective groan.

When writing your business plan, look for an opening line at least as great as the one that brought a smile to your sweetie's face the first time you met.  "Hi" sometimes works great, especially if the package is eye-catching.  Usually it takes a little more than that.

There are probably ideal opening lines floating around somewhere.  My best suggestion:  write your business plan so that the opening line will draw your reader into the story of your business.  Without that initial interest, your business plan will likely be trashed.  Zapped.  Gone forever.

Here are 63 opening lines to help you write your business plan.  You're welcome to use them, or ignore them as folly.  Why 63?  Well, I started jotting them down one day over lunch, and that's what I ended up with.

So here goes ...
